Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Little Rock, Arkansas Wedding Film
“Love is friendship set on fire.”—Jeremy Taylor
While filming couples on their wedding day, we get to witness the romantic love they share for each other. There was no exception with Laura and Christoph as it was obvious that they share an extraordinary and beautiful friendship.
It was a lovely day when Laura and Christoph exchanged vows on June 4, 2016 at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Laura gathered with her bridesmaids and at the Capital Hotel to prepare for the big day. Everyone got dolled up as they drank mimosas and enjoyed their time together. Laura looked stunning in her ballgown style wedding dress reminiscent of a queen from a fairytale. Christoph got ready at his family’s home to ensure that they did not see each other before the wedding. He looked very handsome in his tux and bowtie.
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral did not require much decorating with its gorgeous stained glass panels and vintage iron lanterns. Ivory flowers and greenery decorated the aisle while friends and family eagerly waited for the ceremony to begin. It was a full house as Laura made her way down the aisle accompanied by her father. Christoph got his first glimpse of his beautiful bride, and his emotional reaction was priceless.
The reception was held at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. At the reception, the drinks were flowing and everyone mingled, laughed, and enjoyed each other’s company. Dinner consisted of a traditional Southern Fare buffet with things like chicken and waffles, watermelon salad, and pecan pie on a stick! The wedding cake was elegant and covered in faux pearls and topped with a beautifully unique floral embellishment. It was a pleasure working with the talented teams of Carper Creative Photography and the planner, Rachel Haynes Events, who coordinated the wedding and made sure that the couple’s day went smoothly.
Laura and Christoph enjoyed their first sweet dance as a married couple. Next, Laura and her father shared a special dance followed by Christoph dancing with his mother. The night got lively as the band, The SoulSations, of Memphis, Tennessee, came out on stage and got everyone out on the dance floor. The bride and her bridesmaids even got up on stage and performed with the band. Laura and Christoph danced the night away with all of their friends and family, and everyone adorned their heads with glow stick halos.
The day ended with the band performing a jazz rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching In” as sparklers lit up the night and the happy couple exited in an ivory vintage Cadillac. We at Sunflower films enjoyed filming the Keller’s wedding and wish them all the best in their future together!
